At the Coffee Morning on Friday 25th October, there will be an opportunity to purchase items produced by our Craft Corner group; a chance to buy some small gifts, perhaps as Christmas presents. 25% of the money paid for each item will be donated to the Club Charity .

At the end of August, Practice Sailing on Saturday mornings was extended until the end of September. As this has proved popular, it has now been added to the Programme for every Saturday morning until the end of October. The Club's coffee morning on Friday 27th was a great success. Twenty-seven adults, accompanied by two "young cadets", braved the strong wind and heavy showers to help devour a tableful of eye-catching and mouth-watering cakes. On Saturday 14th September we had a very successful day of fun and racing with our 2019 Bart's Bash in the morning and the Edie Sampson Trophy Race in the afternoon. A total of 43 people took part in Bart's Bash racing in 24 dinghies. This included 9 novices and cadets in 4 Stratos and a Venture accompanied by experienced helms plus a few novices and cadets without! .. ..

The laying of the High Voltage Alternating Current (HVAC) cables is now complete and barge NP 289 has departed the Solent. The next phases of the IFA2 project are to bury the offshore HVAC cables and to prepare for the arrival of the HV Direct Current (HVDC) cables from France. Vessel JIF ARTEMIS, pictured above, will be used to bury the HVAC cables beneath the seabed. This work is expected to continue until
