For December, January, February and March, Sunday bar opening will be restricted to the first Sunday of each month except when there is a special event eg Commodore's At Home (23rd February). The bar will continue to open from 8pm to 10:30pm on Tuesday evenings except 24th December (Christmas Eve). If in doubt, check Upcoming Events on the website Home page or the Programme .

The usual beginners course (RYA National Sailing Scheme Level 1 & 2 [Start Sailing/Basic Skills] and RYA Youth Sailing Scheme Stages 1 -4]) will be run in late May 2020 and is now displayed with full details on WebCollect: Beginner's Sailing Course May 2020 and will be available for booking on 1st December. If your membership details change eg you move house, replace your mobile phone or change your email address, you should update your WebCollect "account". Unfortunately, WebCollect will not automatically notify the Administrator of such changes. Thus, for example, the Membership Directory will not be updated. So, after updating WebCollect, please tell David, the Membership Secretary , that you have done so.

The Club's coffee morning on Friday 27th was a great success. Twenty-seven adults, accompanied by two "young cadets", braved the strong wind and heavy showers to help devour a tableful of eye-catching and mouth-watering cakes. A total of £123.32 was thrust into the collection box. Helped by gift-aiding, the Club raised approximately £148 for Macmillan Cancer. .. .. On Saturday 14th September we had a very successful day of fun and racing with our 2019 Bart's Bash in the morning and the Edie Sampson Trophy Race in the afternoon. A total of 43 people took part in Bart's Bash racing in 24 dinghies. This included 9 novices and cadets in 4 Stratos and a Venture accompanied by experienced helms plus a few novices and cadets without! .. ..
