  • Cleaning the Clubhouse

    Now the clubhouse is looking clean and tidy and ready for the start of the season, we need volunteers to keep it this way by helping with a monthly cleaning session. The cleaning is easier in pairs working from top to the bottom and should take less than two hours. It can be carried out at a time of your choosing. If you would be willing to help, contact Debbie Woolnough .

    Tuesday 26 March - First Aid Brief - All Welcome

    There will be a First Aid Brief in the clubhouse beginning at 8pm on Tuesday 26th March. The briefing is to be given by a First Aid professional and will last approximately 75 minutes.   • Saturday 30 March - VC Brief and Shakedown Races

    The Vice Commodore's Pre-season Brief is targeted at key duty personnel ie OOD's, DOOD's, PBC's, PBD's and Tractor Drivers.   • Training - Help Required

    Power boat refresher training is being carried out for all patrol boat drivers and crews from Saturday 23rd March until Saturday 18th May. The RYA Start Racing Course is taking place over the weekend of 27th and 28th April (Spare Day 12th May).   • Bar to open after racing on Saturdays

    Last season's ad-hoc opening of the bar after sailing on a Saturday afternoon was successful. Consequently for this season on every Saturday on which there is racing, the bar will open between 5pm and 6pm. If racing is cancelled, the bar will not open.
