Craft Corners » Craft Corner 12 - workshop with local artist Elaine Reed

Our Craft Corner session on Sunday 1st December, from 1pm until 3pm, is a workshop with Elaine Reed, our local artist and ex-Seafarer. We shall be trying a woodland scene using the 'salt resist' technique with watercolours. If you can come, then please try to bring some of the following with you:

• Any watercolour materials you already have including watercolour paper, paints and brushes
• A board of some kind (MDF, plywood or even the hardboard backing of an old frame) to tape your paper to. This is so it doesn't cockle too much; this is quite a wet technique.
• A large white dinner plate if you don't have a normal palette
• A water pot
• Some table salt
• Masking tape
