This year's Overnight Cruise is scheduled to take place from Friday 16 to Sunday 18 August. The cruise will be to Corf Camp on the Isle of Wight. This is a unique opportunity to experience one of the most beautiful locations on the island. Corf Camp is a Scout Camp in beautiful surroundings at the southern end of Newtown Creek. Seafarers SC is privileged to be one of very few organisations permitted to use this campsite. It is ideal (with the tide in) for SUP and PUK (Pump up Kayak) use. It is a short country walk to the New Inn in Shalfleet. There is a more adventurous walk to Yarmouth. This destination has proved to be a big hit with Seafarers in the past.

Hopefully we will have the availability of a supporting van (and Crew!) to transport heavy items and be used for the grocery shopping. A WebCollect event will be set up to allow booking. There will be a small cost, typically £25 per person, to cover the camping fee as well as a share of the van ferry and fuel costs. There will be a food kitty for the Saturday evening meal, lunch and breakfasts. Included in the kitty will be soft drinks. If you have a requirement for any other type of drink, you are welcome to bring your own. Friday evening traditionally involves a group meal of take away fish and chips.The payments will be held until Wednesday 16 August when a final decision on whether to go ahead will be made.

With HW Portsmouth on Friday at 09:51, departure will be at approximately 08:00 Friday morning. HW on Sunday is at 11:25.
