In January 2021 the Club reached its sixtieth anniversary. To mark the occasion, a Diamond Jubilee booklet was produced. A copy of this booklet can be downloaded from the ARCHIVES menu (or click here). These Club History pages are, essentially, a transcription of this booklet although they include additional pictures and some updated information.

In addition to these pages, the Archivessection of this website gives access to several sources of information about Seafarers Sailing Club since its foundation in 1961. These sources include Club Newsletters, the minutes of every general meeting held since formation, a record of prize winners and the Gallery Archive containing Club photographs from 1961 to the present day. Some are for members only. If you are not a Club member but are interested in the Club's history, contact the Club Communications Officer and Archivist.
