VR Championship - Regional Finals Saturday

After five races over two consecutive Tuesdays in April, we identified Alan Bull (VR name "Bullett" - short for "Bullet-a-Gate", D says!) as our VR Champion for the RYA's Spring e-Sailing Championship. Across the UK the regional finals are being held now in preparation for the national final on Saturday 30 May.

South Region

Two qualifying rounds (5 races, 2 discards) were held on Saturday 16 May. The results are below. As one of the top 19, Alan is through to the Regional Finals.

The South Region Finals (5 races, 2 discards) will take place on Saturday 23 May from 11AM. Club members can watch the racing live through Virtual Regatta (VR). Sign into VR, click on Custom Race then the video camera and then find the race name, 'RYA South Final', and select that race. The race will also be live streamed on the RYA South Facebook page.

National

The winner of the regional final will progress to the national final on Saturday 30 May. This will be streamed LIVE on Yachts & Yachting Online.

Seafarers Races/Results

Results of the Seafarers Club Championship races and for the initial three Club VR race series are available from the Virtual Regatta menu.

Three more series, each of 24 races, are taking place each Thursday, Saturday and Sunday until the end of May. Details appear in the Programme/Duty List.
