On Saturday 14th September you should bring a picnic lunch as the Club's Bart's Bash will take place in the morning, the bar will open at lunchtime and the Edie Sampson Trophy Race will take place in the afternoon.

The Edie Sampson Trophy Race will be a Pursuit race with a nominal duration of 90 minutes and a start time of 2:30pm. High water is at 12:41pm.

For more information on the Trophy and, if you are logged in, the Duty Crew, go the Edie Sampson Trophy Race event page.

After the race the bar will be open again and free snacks/nibbles will be available. The Vice Commodore will award the Edie Sampson Trophy and present a prize to the winner of the Bart's Bash race.

The pictures show the winning boat of the 2016 Edie Sampson Trophy Race, Laser 2000 21723, and its crew, Nathan Stanier and Mary Collins, being presented with the trophy by the Vice Commodore, Justin Churcher.
